3D Character Illustrator

Rate: $70 – $95 / hr (rate adjusted for 1099)

Summary

A national tech consultancy is in need of a 3D Illustrator to create and invoke a personality into a 3D character. This character would be the face of the brand. The character would be incorporated in infographics and digital communications. The illustration will not be animate at this time. The company has a 2D rendering and needs it to be transformed into a 3D Pixar-esq looking character.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build the character within 3D software
• Follow the direction from the creative brief and creative director
• Estimate time needed
• Establish goals and expectations with the client
• Manage the work-flow process
• Stay ahead and on top of deadlines
• Meet client’s expectations

Job Requirements:

Gotta Have

• Great experience working with 3D animation software
• Samples of 3D characters with a Pixar-like aesthetic
• Eye for detail
• Ability to make a still 3D character have a vibrant personality
