We are striving to build a respectful, balanced, well-skilled team focused on enabling the People team, managers, and ICs to navigate challenging career moments while balancing compliance, empathy, and risk, resulting in success and engagement for all. We believe that the ER function at Stripe can also take on a broader remit with the organization and are looking for someone who is interested and able to expand the function to include additional areas such as crisis management, and drive proactive initiatives to help us build strong, healthy organizations that fully live our operating principles.

- Lead and manage a team of global ER Partners delivering best-in-class ER practices
- Partner with the People & Places leadership team to define the ER function and enable other parts of the organization (Global Benefits, People Partners, etc) to successfully execute on their goals
- Establish, guide, and consult on the development of the appropriate policies, practices, and norms needed to maintain our code of conduct, talent philosophy, and live our operating principles
- Advise on org wide enablement needed to educate Stripes, managers and leaders, and partner with our People Development and Programs teams to integrate learning and education and/or supplement with focused content
- Guide and support the teams (ER and People Partners) focused on case management, including investigations, performance management, accommodations, etc. Continue to support the development of our policies and practices
- Build out a right-sized crisis management function, to ensure we are partnering across Stripe to be prepared and able to respond to fast moving situations
- Provide counsel and guidance to our senior leadership team, leveraging data and proactive problem solving to ensure Stripe can achieve its commitment to users and Stripes
- Ensure we are being data driven and using insights to steer decision-making and drive actionable insights in the ER and DEIB spaces, but also connect dots to broader initiatives
