Our API-first solution allows any merchant to offer extended warranties and protection plans, both online and offline, while also providing a merchant’s end customers with a vastly improved and modern support experience that eliminates many of the issues customers face today with legacy underwriters.

We are a venture-backed startup based in downtown San Francisco that is led by founders who have previously had multiple successful exits. Extend is simplifying the technology stack for the extended warranty industry.

About the Role:

We’re looking for someone to join our rocketship leading our largest Enterprise Shipping and Product Protection programs with merchant partners across North America to unlock revenue and profit growth. If you are an innovative and analytical thinker who is both a strategist and a strong operator, this is the right role for you!

You’ll work with product, engineering, sales, operations, marketing, merchandising, and other teams to launch new partnerships and lead existing omnichannel programs while making your vision a reality.

This role is 100% remote.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Growth & Strategy, you will lead the development, optimization, and scaling of Extend’s largest omnichannel partners.
  • You will work closely with senior leaders of Fortune 500 retailers and brands.
  • Lead new program launch strategy + ongoing growth optimization for existing programs.
  • Identify strategic opportunities by leveraging data and performance insights.
  • Manage promotional strategy and marketing development budgets.
  • Steer excellence in the financial and operational drivers of the business.
  • Author long-term business plans, thinking at a deeply strategic level about optimization and growth.
  • Collaborate and align with company-wide stakeholders at Extend to continuously drive innovation and service excellence.

Job Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be 3-5 years post-MBA (preferred, not required) and come from a management consulting, finance or similar background with a hunger to take more ownership at the execution level and hone their operator skill set.
  • You have a bias towards action and can thrive in a fast environment.
  • You crave responsibility and want to help shape the vision and direction of the company.
  • You desire to get to the lowest level of detail and data analysis when thinking through growth strategies.
  • You have a talent for breaking down complex problems and can translate high-level goals into relevant and actionable plans.
  • You have experience in a complex or high-growth environment.
  • You have strong data retrieval, analytics and presentation skills.
  • You like to have fun and you’re open to feedback.

Travel:

  • Estimated 15-20% travel to client sites and other locations as needed
