Job Description

As a Recruitment Manager at Shippo you will be a key member of the Recruiting and People leadership team responsible for the development and implementation of the recruitment strategy globally.
You will manage a remote distributed team working closely with hiring leaders across the organisation to develop short and long term hiring plans that deliver against business objectives. You will be a consultative advisor partnering closely with TA Operations, People Operations, Compensation, and business leaders in developing innovative recruitment solutions.
This is a leadership role that requires you to be able to operate at both a strategic, consultative level as well as hands-on driving continuous improvement day to day.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the People team and business leaders to establish accurate headcount forecasting that will drive internal and external talent attraction strategies and allow for effective recruiting resource planning.
  • Design and implement a best-in-class candidate experience to include the identification and implementation of new technologies, processes and ways of work.
  • Manage and optimize the use of various talent attraction channels globally, including internal sourcing capability, social media, job boards and networks to ensure effective use of sourcing channels to achieve staffing goals.
  • Analyze hiring trends, attrition rates, candidate feedback and other metrics to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
  • Set a high standard for talent through the continuous improvement of our interview processes and consistent use of assessment methodologies.
  • Champion the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion agenda throughout the recruiting process.
  • Manage, coach, empower, and develop a successful geographically dispersed team.
  • Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Coach and develop a team of Recruiters, Sourcers & Coordinators that are highly consultative and data driven. Provide thought leadership, set clear objectives, and leverage data and metrics to manage overall team progress and performance.
  • Build team capability to guide and educate hiring managers on recruiting practices, interviewing and assessment processes.
  • Compile and communicate talent metrics to stakeholders.
  • Represent the Shippo recruitment function to all partners, stakeholders, and candidates by providing exceptional service delivery.

Experience

  • 8+ years of progressive experience within talent acquisition in a corporate environment.
  • At least 4+ years people management experience leading and developing successful talent acquisition teams.
  • Experience in developing and implementing a diversity strategy to attract talent.
  • Experience in leading the design and execution of complex projects involving multiple or cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive programs, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a complex environment.

  • Strategic leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, influence and earn trust with peers, partners, and team.
  • Highly analytical and data driven using data to create narratives and solve problems.
  • Strong project management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience .
