Mynd is looking for a senior marketer to help reimagine the experience of our resident community. As the product marketing lead for our resident segment, you’ll connect our marketing, product, and service teams to bring the stories of our resident community to life and engage with our resident community in a consistent, relevant, and differentiated way Your work will drive product and feature adoption, improve customer experience metrics and build our resident brand.

Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, you will have a highly cross-functional remit, with considerable influence and visibility throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand Mynd’s current and potential resident community through market research, and use that understanding to develop clear and differentiated messaging and assets for our Marketing, Resident Services and Product teams;
  • Advocate for the needs of our residents to inform our decisions we make;
  • Develop and implement messaging and communications standards to ensure we’re speaking to residents’ needs in a consistent way across every touchpoint in their journey, including within our product;
  • Collaborate with our Creative and Product teams to overhaul our resident-facing website, bringing the Mynd experience to life
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to develop go-to-market plans for product and feature launches and resident-specific campaigns;
  • Collaborate with Product to ensure that our roadmaps reflect what residents want and need;
  • Inject creativity, humanity, customer-centricity, an iconic voice, and an upleveled aesthetic into everything we do, and help make renting with Mynd a fulfilling experience.

Qualifications:

  1. Ability to thrive in a highly-matrixed, fast-moving work environment;
  2. 5+ years of product marketing experience at a consumer, technology, or hospitality brand (real estate or proptech experience a plus but not required);
  3. Experience running consumer research studies (quantitative and qualitative), synthesizing and presenting findings, and mobilizing teams to act on insights;
  4. A knack for finding and telling a great story and teaching others to do it too;
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability and desire to write gorgeous marketing, communications and in-product copy;
  6. Experience working with both technical and business leaders, and ability to translate business goals into technical requirements and vice versa;
  7. Experience developing go-to-market strategies and collaborating with marketing teams to bring them to life;
  8. Customer-centricity: a passion for discovering and evangelizing customer needs throughout an organization;
  9. Deep curiosity and a growth mindset: You’re energized by change and learning, and not afraid to say “I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out!”
  10. An entrepreneurial spirit: A passion to solve problems in bold new ways, and the ability to mobilize teams to get things done together.
  11. Experience or interest in experience strategy and / or human-centered design is a plus.
