Job Description

We’re looking for an HR Business Partner who will support the day-to-day needs of the incredible talent we have within Pinterest.  This is not your typical HRBP role, you will drive significant business growth and make an immediate impact through your expertise in organizational design, talent management strategy, and leadership coaching, all while acting as a steward of Pinterest’s culture. As part of our People function, your #1 goal is to design, build and execute the talent strategy that drives Pinterest’s success.

What you’ll do

  • Be a trusted advisor to leaders and managers in Design and EPD Strategy Ops to help them deliver their best work every single day
  • Roll up your sleeves to execute a full range of HR duties from high-level strategy to program design to problem-solving
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide people solutions to make teams more effective
  • Drive planning and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives
  • Enabling leaders to be their best through direct, compassionate, and contextualized coaching
  • Collaboration with others (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  1. Deep and progressive experience as a strategic HR Business Partner
  2. Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees
  3. Demonstration of experience in all HR competencies with deep expertise (certification, industry best practice creation, immersive experience) in at least one of the following: org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, I&D, or  change management
  4. You connect your work and contributions to align with and influence business strategies and objectives
  5. Demonstrated experience and a passion for strong collaboration with others (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class initiatives
  6. Working with Design and/or Design Ops a plus
  7. Our PinFlex future of work philosophy requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration approximately once per quarter. For employees not located within a commutable distance from this in-office touchpoint, Pinterest will cover T&E.
