Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Business Channel Specialist.  If you have a love of providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate creation of counter product file for new, relocated or renovated locations with branch leadership and facilities
  • Initiate conference calls with branch and facilities associates to set project expectations and deadlines
  • Maintain national product templates for merchandising strategy in concert with Water Works and Fire & Fabrication Business Group
  • Coordinate work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements and timelines
  • Complete adhoc requests from the field needed to identify opportunities for product strategy alignment
  • Perform, design and maintain analytics, tools, and processes to execute Product Strategy in the field
  • Conduct pricing analytics and verify compliance in the field
  • Recognize and recommend operational improvements
  • Serve as a liaison between the field and company to support departments
  • Represent the FEI organization to customers, associates and leadership
  • Maintain recurring reports and processes
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A successful associate will be goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere, in addition to having the following:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally
  • Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to groups
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices
  • Critical thinker
  • Knowledge of Power BI or other analytical
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Experience performing highly analytical tasks
  • Ability to effectively utilize FEI’s customer relationship management system
  • Detail oriented
  • Product knowledge preferred
