Enterprise Data Architect, Business Operations

Business Operations works across every part of the company, designing, building, operating business systems and data infrastructure to instrument business processes and business intelligence to enable the operations and growth of Juniper Square. As the Enterprise Data Architect in the Business Operations team, you will play a central role in enabling company-wide operations and business intelligence:
- Define and manage the company-wide logical data model, spanning corporate, customer, revenue, HR data to holistically represent the business of the company, customers, industry
- Guide systems operations and data analytics functions with authoritative specifications of source data
Lead data governance practices

What you’ll do
You are responsible for the enterprise data architecture and governance:
- Define and maintain the comprehensive logical enterprise data model, spanning the data for operations (objectives, metrics, projects), HR (personnel, organizational structure), customers, revenue, industry
- Create and maintain documentation for data specifications, data flows, data-oriented system architecture / maps
- Lead the definition, implementation and management of Master Data Management practices
You are the expert authority for source data:
- Provide documentation and guidance to others for authoritative data architecture and relationships to enable data and business analysis (but you are not yourself a service-oriented data analyst)
You are a partner to systems and data operations functions:
- Guide and support the operations of data systems with specifications and best practices for data architecture and flows
- Advise on systems architecture and application integration
- Mentor junior staff in areas of data architecture and modeling
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in architecting and managing complex data structures
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise business operations functions, their data interdependencies, integrated data models
- Proficiency with Master Data Management practices
- Extensive experience with integrated cloud applications for business intelligence, workflow automation, ERP, HRIS (Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, Jira, NetSuite, etc)
- Minimum 10+ years of direct or comparable experience in high-growth companies, with a demonstrated record of high-impact solutions (internal or external) for complex business structures
- Excellent documentation skills
