AWS DevOps Architect
Job Description
Futuralis is looking for a AWS DevOps Architect to join our team and help us architect and build and maintain security and compliance solutions for the AWS cloud our top of our flagship cloud & infrastructure security products. you’ll be working closely with the development, QA, and operations team members. You will be responsible for architecting cloud-based solutions and will need to be proficient in infrastructure and platform design and management as well as application deployment automation. You will be responsible for designing, building, reviewing, testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- The cloud consultant should be able to understand customer’s current state business and platform requirements and define target state system architecture requirements.
- Must be able to define architecture and MVP success criteria.
- It is desirable for the cloud consultant to be able to perform hands on engineering activities to build workflow orchestration systems.
- Must have strength in building middleware orchestration systems using python, MWAA, AWS StepFunctions, Business Process Management Systems, APIs, System Integration, Microservices etc.
- Should have a high-level understanding of overall AWS architecture primarily middleware services.
- Possess knowledge of state machines and associated application architecture patterns.
- Be able to perform unit and system testing of workflow orchestration systems as test harness.
- Must have significant background in Application Development building workflow orchestration systems understand
- He/she should be able to demonstrate high calibre soft skills during customer communications, effective listening and presentation skills are highly desirable.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience in building scripts using python, java, lambda.
- Deep understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts.
- Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, SES, Lambda.
- Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment (Ansible / Puppet / Chef / Saltstack).
- Experience with Docker containers.
