POSITION OVERVIEW

Kate Farms is in search of a mindful Cybersecurity Manager to work with the Company’s legal group and IT department. The selected individual must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with colleagues to implement a variety of compliance and privacy functions.

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage our multi-faceted cybersecurity program.
  • Lead our incident response as part of a cross-departmental team.
  • Oversee our vendor risk management program, including initial review and ongoing auditing.
  • Review, develop, test, and implement cybersecurity plans, methods, and control techniques.
  • Monitor cybersecurity tools, structures, and plans.
  • Help technology owners to define and plan control enhancement efforts and other actions to reduce risk.
  • Review and update our cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and all other related documentation.
  • Identify and advise on cybersecurity standards and risk management strategies.
  • Keep us up to date with best cybersecurity practices.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL

  • Be methodical, eager, adaptable, analytical, innovative, highly responsive, and proactive.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate cybersecurity concepts.
  • Resolve complex issues with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Plan and prioritize the integration of cybersecurity measures in business projects.
  • Be a cybersecurity subject matter expert.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

  • Experience and expertise in incident response, risk assessment, zero trust networking, end-point security, encryption, MFA, monitoring, security architecture, security concepts, security tools and technologies, intrusion prevention and detection protocols, and security infrastructure and configuration.
  • The knack for breaking down and explaining complicated technology topics to others with ease.
  • A solid grasp of all relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST).
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and relationship building skills.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (i.e., CISSP).
  • An undergraduate degree (with a master’s degree a plus).
