Brief Position Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Digital Media Analytics will be responsible for delivering actionable analyses and recommendations that help CarMax:
- Craft marketing strategies that help nurture and progress customers along their shopping journey with the right creative/messaging strategy
- Increase sales and the ROI of our marketing strategies
Responsibilities of role
- Partner with different internal stakeholders and media agency partners to set goals for key performance metrics and track progress against goals
- Own the measurement and performance analysis of one our Paid Digital programs and recommend actions to optimize our marketing spend
- Build expertise in Digital Media (Display, Paid Social, Video, SEM/SEO) to draw actionable analyses
- Develop, run & analyze tests: Utilize test results/analysis to understand the incremental impact of our marketing investments to our sales
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative major
- 3+ years of analytics experience in the Digital Media space
- Strong analytical thinker with a proven track record of providing actionable insights and clear strategic direction
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate through written reports and oral presentations with all levels of management
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver work
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods & reporting tools
- Proficient with quantitative test design and analysis
- Experience using SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint is a plus
