Executive Creative Director

Job Description

As an Executive Creative Director at Wondersauce, you are both a maker and a leader. A grasp of a wide range of media gives you the ability to spearhead 360º creative solutions from big ideas to branding to digital and physical executions. You are skilled in client and internal communications, have experience creating and delivering pitch presentations and are comfortable with occasional travel. You have a desire to mentor and grow budding creative professionals to their full potential, as well as contribute to the overall creative culture throughout the company.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with office Creative Directors and Partners
• Collaborate across disciplines with Product Managers, Strategists, UX Designers, Art Directors, and Developers
• Act as the primary creative touchpoint for clients
• Actively participate in new business efforts
• Manage several small groups of designers on projects
• Participate in and lead team brainstorms and internal critiques
• Provide critical and constructive feedback to designers
• Effectively lead client presentations while defending creative vision and decisions
• Assist in the recruitment and interviewing for open design positions
• Lead 2-3 accounts at a time

Requirements

• Five years of design experience in an agency setting
• Experience with web-based and e-commerce projects
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, prototyping tools
• Portfolio full of relevant work
• A strong understanding of prototyping, site functionality, interaction, and user interfaces
• Experience in branding and traditional advertising a strong plus
• Self-motivated and decisive
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail, high-quality standards, and process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Enthusiastic about learning and sharing with teammates
