Job Description

Moxie helps nurse-entrepreneurs start and scale their own medical spa practices. Medspas are booming practices and are often a path for women to become business owners, but many lack the right tools to grow profitably. Today, 80% of them in the US are individually owned and operated. We’re creating a future where that stays true and individual nurses who own their practices can access the tools and expertise normally reserved for private equity backed chains. We are a fast-growing, well-funded seed-stage company.

 

We’re looking for the General Manager to build and run our Accelerate program to build Moxie’s business with larger Medspas. You’ll work directly with our largest partners to make them grow faster and more profitably, all while running more smoothly day-to-day. You’ll build deep relationships to understand their top problems, and develop repeatable processes to solve their problems efficiently. You’ll also pitch in on strategic projects across the company, helping Moxie continue to strengthen our value for all partners.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with our largest clients to make them grow faster, increase profits, and run more smoothly

  • Turn everything you do for partners into a repeatable process, including ongoing business performance reviews, and one-time projects for partners, such as deploying a new customer financing tool, setting up systems for converting leads, and delivering training on how to upsell 

  • Support sales and marketing to larger prospects, including visiting potential partners to understand their practices and make recommendations to help them grow and run more effectively

  • Build Moxie’s capabilities to increase our value for partners. Possible examples include:

    • Solve bookkeeping for partners: find an effective partner or build it in-house

    • Partner with device companies so that we can offer discounts to our partners

    • Build additional channel marketing capabilities for partners (i.e. SEM, influencer marketing)

 

We’re looking for:

  • Deep understanding of business operations and growth

  • 2+ years experience as a consultant a top firm, 5+ years relevant experience

  • High energy and excellent communicator: our partners are passionate about their businesses and want to work with a partner who matches their passion.

  • Resourceful and scrappy: you know how to do whatever it takes to deliver results for partners.

  • Data-driven: you understand the numbers that matter, and can explain them to someone with less expertise

  • Passionate about enabling small business owners and wellness, healthcare, and beauty
