Evident is looking for a business leader to head our sales team, to drive the go-to-market efforts across all of our strategic segments (e.g. Retail, Supply Chain, Financial Institutions, etc). 
The Head of Sales will recruit, develop and lead an established team of Business Development Representatives and Account Executives, managing the full enterprise sales-cycle. The leader will also collaborate closely with the Head of Business Development to support partner-driven opportunities.
The ideal candidate has management and full sale-cycle experience for an insuretech/SaaS provider, and has successfully sold into risk management or adjacent buying centers. 
This role reports to the SVP, Head of Sales and BD. Candidates must be based in the US, preferably near a major city to accommodate travel.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong track record of leading a sales team, recruiting and developing sales talent, including call and demo coaching, and preparation for enterprise-facing sales presentations. We will consider candidates that are growing in their management career and ready to stretch into a leadership role. 
  • Executing against a proven sales process to meet and exceed quota for a SaaS-based service.
  • Exceptionally strong communication and influence skills.
  • Tenacity and autonomy rarely matched by others, while still collaborating, teaching and learning from the team around you.
  • Openness and willingness to be coached and mentored.
  • The ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of successful software sales and leadership experience ideally in the insuretech or risk management space.
  • Experience leveraging G-Suite, SFDC to forecast business accurately, and analyzing team performance throughout the sales funnel.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proximity near a major city, willingness to travel.
