What you will do

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our team in Latin America. You will be responsible for designing, integrating and implementing microservices. As a Senior Developer, you identify the client’s specific needs, recommend and implement high-quality solutions using the industry’s best practices. You will work closely with other engineering teams of experts passionate about software architecture, optimization, and high-performance solutions. Furthermore, you will be a part of a collaborative, agile, results-driven work culture where diversity is respected and excellence is rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Implement microservices following industry’s best practices and coding standards.
• Maintain and support mission-critical applications as necessary.
• Work closely with senior team members or other teams (e.g., QA, configuration management, end users) to release high quality software by following test requirements and ensuring sufficient unit test coverage.
• Participate in team improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence

Requirements and technical skills

• 5+ years of overall experience developing software applications.
• Solid software development background in Go, at least 1-3 years.
• Strong knowledge of Go debugging in a Linux environment 
• Experience with Docker, Shell Scripting.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably GIT.
• Analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• In-depth understanding of the entire software development lifecycler
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment 
• Proficient English, both written and verbal communication
